I have over the decades produced theatrical productions for Charities and non-profits ranging from the Character & Heritage Institute and Ability 1st to the Aids Foundation and the American Relief Fund for Poland. Curtains For A Cause is an event that I started, to help raise funds for Dystonia. I then produced it for the TMH Foundation for the Brian Jackson Dystonia Research and Discovery Program at the Florida State University's College of Medicine.
The first year it was done on Valentine's Day (I have produced shows for decades on Valentine's Day and New Year's Eve) and I directed "The Complete History of America abridged". Three years ago we had it on Valentine's Day and extended another performance on February 15th. That show was "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change". Two Years ago year we had it on February 14th and I directed "Forbidden Broadway". Last year I directed "Are We There Yet?"
